Terms & Conditions

These terms apply whenever you book a mixing/mastering session with Marc IV Audio, the trading name of Vicram Singh Gozra, a UK sole trader. By completing a booking, you agree to the terms on this page.

The service

I provide mixing and mastering from your stems: you send pre-bounced stereo files, and I return a finished stereo mix and master. Every package includes 2 stems as standard (typically a vocal stem and an instrumental stem). If you need more separation — for example drums, bass, keys, or vocal groups split out individually — extra stem groups can be added for a flat £10 per extra stem, chosen at the time of booking. Package details (revisions, turnaround, and what's included) are as described on the pricing section of the site at the time of booking.

Copyright & submitted material

By submitting stems for a session, you confirm that you own, or otherwise hold the legal right to use, every part of what you send — including any samples, loops, sound packs, or recordings contained within your stems. I don't check or verify the copyright status of anything submitted, and I'm not in a position to.

I accept no responsibility or liability for copyright infringement, or for any legal claim or dispute, arising from material you provide. Any such issue — and any consequences or costs that follow from it — is entirely your responsibility, not mine.

Booking & payment

Payment is taken in full at the time of booking via a secure PayPal link, which is emailed to you as soon as you submit the booking form. This confirms your slot. If payment isn't completed within 24 hours, the booking and slot are released automatically so someone else can book it.

Cancellations & refunds

Under UK consumer law, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel a service bought online and receive a full refund. Because work on your track typically begins very soon after payment — often within the turnaround windows stated in the pricing section — by booking and paying, you expressly request that work begins immediately and agree that you lose the 14-day cancellation right once work has started.

In practice: if you cancel before I've started work on your track, you'll receive a full refund. Once work has genuinely begun, refunds are considered case-by-case — get in touch and I'll always deal with it fairly and reasonably.

To cancel a booking, email customerservice@marcivaudio.co.uk with your booking date and name. You'll receive an email confirming the cancellation, along with confirmation of any refund if one applies.

Revisions & turnaround

Each package includes a set number of revision rounds and a target turnaround time, as listed on the pricing section:

"Unlimited within reason" means revisions addressing genuine mix/master feedback on the track you booked — it doesn't extend to unrelated new work, a different song, or requests so extensive they amount to starting over. If that happens, I'll always tell you before doing any extra work, and agree a fair price for it first.

How revisions are counted: your first preview is the initial delivery and never counts as a revision — you'll just hear that first mix on its own. From the second upload onward, each new version you receive is compared directly against the previous one on an instant A/B player, so you can hear exactly what changed — and that upload is what uses one revision. This is tracked automatically. You can see exactly how many revisions you've used and how many remain on your private delivery page at any time, and I can see the same thing on my side, so there's never any doubt about where you stand. Once your included revisions are used up, further changes aren't refused automatically — I'll always get in touch first to agree a fair way forward, whether that's a small paid extra revision or, on Premium, continuing within the "unlimited within reason" terms above.

Turnaround times are targets based on normal circumstances, not a guaranteed contractual deadline — if something ever puts a specific turnaround at risk, I'll tell you as early as possible.

Delivery

You'll get a private delivery link to preview a short before/after snippet of your finished mix, and a separate link to download your full, final-quality files once you're happy with the result. The preview snippet is always a compressed MP3, regardless of what format is used behind the scenes — this is so a preview link can never be used to obtain a full-quality copy of unfinished or unpaid work. Your full, lossless final files are only ever sent once you're happy and the project is complete.

Commercial licence (Premium package)

The Premium package includes a commercial licence for the finished mix, master, and mastered stems I deliver to you. This means: you own the right to use, distribute, sell, and monetise the finished audio I deliver, without further payment to me, for as long as you hold the rights to the underlying composition and recording you sent me. This licence covers my mixing/mastering work only — it doesn't grant you any rights to the original composition, lyrics, or performance beyond what you already had, and it doesn't transfer ownership of my own techniques, presets, or processing chains.

I may use short excerpts of any track I work on in my own portfolio or promotional material, unless you ask me not to.

Liability

I'll deliver the service with reasonable care and skill. I'm not liable for delays or issues caused by problems outside my control (e.g. file corruption during transfer, third-party service outages). My liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
